White Boy Email 14th edition
WBE 14: the shout out edition
Quote of the Week:
“Estrogen and the fiesta bowl, you can’t beat that…well, kiss my ass”
-The diva herself
Ebonics Lesson:
“Bia Bia”
(Said with hand motion)
This could be many things, but mostly used as substitutions for strong statements like “yeah B*tch” or “damn straight”
My Dog Skip (“Friendship is a plant that we must often water”):
Picture it. The year is 1942 and the Allies are trying to keep the world safe for this thing we like to call democracy, and this 9 year old white boy gets the best gift ever, a dog. This kid named Willie Morris (and this film was based of a true story of the kid and his dog) and the dog was named skip. I hope that you all have seen this movie or will go rent it, hell some of you may even download it from the internet. The dog in the movie as a character enables the young Willie to get the prettiest girl in school to be his friend, tackle on the bullies in a football game to earn his place as one of the boys, and encourages him to develop dignity and self-confidence. Over the course of the movie, the dog Skip and Willie share ups and downs, they even get in a fight, where Skip runs away for a while, teaching Willie forgiveness and at the end of the movie, the life long lessons of the human spirit that stay with a person even if the friendship may come to an end. (Okay because the dog dies of old age.)
I hope that you all have friendships with humans that are just as awesome as Skip and Willie’s. I think that Ralph Waldo Emerson best put it with these words:
“The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship.”
This is sooo true. I hope that you all feel like you have friends like these. I believe that college is when you can truly develop those lifelong friendships that will last forever. Just don’t be afraid to truly trust and love those close to you.

Let me tell you boys that you could learn a thousand tricks in the sack, but they mean nothing to a girl that you want to get without the romance. Sex, as in the act, is just the cherry on the most excellent sundae, but without the love and romance, it’s just a cherry. So my thoughts are these; sure it is fun and great to learn about these overtly sexual things, and for the diva, more fun to just talk about. But I think that “love is in need of love…” so says Stevie Wonder and we know the genius he is. So take all this information with a grain of salt and realize that there is more to love then tricks in the sack. You all know this. You are smart white boys; I worry more about your friends and their friends. Remember that there is power in your words to have teachable moments. So if you really like a girl kill her with the romance and the things that make you gag, because to her it shows that you are thoughtful and willing to think outside the box of courting or dating.
According to supporters, the Grafenberg spot is a long-neglected, recently rediscovered (this is from 1980s article) piece of feminine sexual equipment located in the upper front vaginal wall, near where the urethra meets the bladder. Stimulation of the spot has been shown to cause orgasm in many women, and these orgasms are often described as "deeper" or "more intense" than the old run-of-the-mill variety. In a small percentage of the women tested--about a tenth, according to one estimate--orgasm is accompanied by ejaculation through the urethra. For years this ejaculation has been interpreted by women, and their mostly male doctors, as urination, but in fact, G-spot buffs claim, the fluid is clear and strikingly similar to the ejaculate of males who have undergone vasectomy. Women, in other words, supposedly have something quite like the male prostate gland, and it offers the promise of mucho jollies for those who can get past the physical and psychic hangups associated with wetting their pants. In a way, the Grafenberg spot is a throwback to "earlier, less enlightened days," although some think the less enlightened days may have been more enlightened than our current age of upfront sexuality. Sigmund Freud, as you no doubt recall, postulated the existence of two different types of female orgasm, the "immature" clitoral orgasm and the "mature" (and, presumably, more satisfying) vaginal kind.
Mama’s Korner:
My mother’s sister (Mama Kate) is 78 years old and broke her him this past December. Well my mom and Mama Kate together are a hoot. The fact that there are two old ladies who can get together and be soo…colorful. Well we in the hospital one day over break and they were talking about what else but vaginas. At first I had no idea what they were talking about, but then it became clear that they were talking about “down there.”
I wont go into the gritty details but I just wanted to let you know that its not just my mama who is crazy, but older black women in general.
